Hiring: RAISE Account Executive

RAISE Communications is a leading boutique PR firm that specializes in B2B tech,  FinTech, EdTech and Venture Capital. We help translate big ideas into stories that inspire and influence. With a diverse portfolio of clients from seed stage launches to later stage and public companies, we partner with leadership teams to help drive growth at every step of the cycle.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, effective communicator to join the team as an Account Executive.  The position will be based out of NYC, with the option to work remotely and transition to an in-office position when it’s safe to do so.

If you have strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask, experience in public relations and the desire to work in a team environment, we want you on our team.  As someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment looking to contribute to the team you’ll have the opportunity to develop professionally while reporting to the SVP, Client Strategy.

 RAISE Account Executive

The Account Executive will collaborate with senior public relations team members to execute client objectives and strategies. This role is focused on media relations services and supports client relations and administrative duties where needed. In addition, this role will be responsible for delivering a social media expertise to existing and future clients.

Media Relations:

  • Supports 3-5 accounts in media pitch efforts.

  • Assists in the development of portions of strategic PR plans and campaign development.

  • Monitors, identifies and secures appropriate editorial calendar opportunities for clients.

Client Service:

  • Functions as a general point of contact (for clients and internally).

  • Participates in new client onboarding including developing agendas for discovery meetings meetings/calls.

  • Researches and identifies industry conferences and awards for clients.

Social Media Management

  • Integrate PR efforts with social media and email tactics at the strategy level in order to achieve clients’ goals; understand and use social media tools (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn) when applicable.

  • Work directly with and advise client teams on execution of social media programs.

  • Stay current with all Social Media industry developments and best practices and inform agency of such via presentation.

Administrative Support:

  • Supports senior public relations team members with reviewing and/or developing media analysis reports and distributing client media mentions.

  • Assists internal team members with other clients, business development and Company projects.

  • Manages company social media channels.

  • Manages trend reports for company and client industries.

 Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree to equivalent experience in Marketing, PR/Communications, Advertising, or related field.

  • Minimum of three years social media/content creation/PR/marketing experience (agency preferred).

  • Expertise in social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.).

  • Extremely strong verbal and written communications skills to communicate with clients and multiple internal departments.

  • Ability to work effectively across different clients and internal teams.

  • Top notch project management and time management skills.

  • Self-reliant problem solver, results-oriented, team player.
