Team Spotlight: Jenny Mulholland, Media Strategy and Execution, Client Relations
What do you do at RAISE?
Media strategy and execution, client relations; thought-leadership development, and now someone who Slacks a lot.
Favorite part of what you do?
There is no better feeling than helping RAISE clients secure amazing news mentions and features —and sharing new strategies with my colleagues everyday.
What do you read every day?
The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, CNN, and The New York Post (I’m a native NYC-er, so you have to get some Page Six etc). I also skim a LOT of trade and consumer publications.
Intern for Senator Daniel Patrick Moynihan of New York — I was 16 and loved it. In that same vein, I also worked in Washington DC as an intern for a different Senator and spent a few years post-college working for the Department of Housing and Urban Development. Politics and current events fascinate me, and of course, all news.
Any new hobby you picked up during COVID?
Needlepointing! I find it to be very meditative but also love that there’s a tangible, creative outcome. Last project: a door hanging for my new baby niece. Next project: a nautical belt for my son who sails.

Summer News Slowdown? Not This Year
It used to be that the news cycle slowed significantly during the summer months. Clients and decision makers went off the grid and reporters took much-needed vacations. But this is no longer the case. If anything, we think the news will be as busy as ever this summer. With COVID restrictions lifting throughout the country, […]
