VICE PRESIDENT, CLIENT STRATEGY
New York, NY
Full-time
Does being at the center of today’s most innovative companies excite you? Do you want to pitch and develop creative PR strategies for emerging tech leaders? Do you want to collaborate with senior PR executives to help clients accelerate growth?
Join the RAISE team, a leading boutique PR firm celebrating its 10th anniversary. Founded by seasoned communications strategist and PR executive Cari Sommer, RAISE Communications has been selected by hundreds of tech founders and CEOs of venture-backed startups to be the communications advisory and PR team of choice.
RAISE Communications is a leading boutique PR firm that specializes in B2B tech, FinTech, EdTech and Venture Capital. We help translate big ideas into stories that inspire and influence. With a diverse portfolio of clients from seed stage launches to later stage and public companies, we partner with leadership teams to help drive growth at every step of the cycle.
We are looking for an innovative self-starter to be our Vice President. The position will be based out of NYC, with the option to work remotely and transition to an in-office position when it’s safe to do so.
If you’re an independent problem-solver with media relations experience and deep knowledge of the B2B technology sector, we want you on our team. As someone who enjoys connecting with others, you’ll have the opportunity to manage senior directors while reporting directly to the CEO and Founder.

A self-starter: thrives in a fast-growing company, and enjoys being proactive by jumping into opportunities and helping wherever there’s opportunity.
Creative: believes that every challenge has a solution—and that sometimes the solution needs to be created.
Goal-driven: has experience building communications/PR programs that not only achieve clear targets but also surpasses our client’s expectations.

What To Do Now to Pitch Your Business Later
1) Throw out your messaging from two months ago. Heck, from two weeks ago. It doesn’t matter. Refresh your story and your marketing with why your business is relevant to customers right now without reaching too hard and trying to make your product a quarantine essential. The media wants data-driven commentary and point of view on your market. Good read: Pitching Through the Pandemic
